i was advised to open my Linksys program and click on the enable WEP to activate my wireless network security. I accessed it and couldn’t find the button. Tried clicking on the other menus but still couldn’t find it. Help!

Which version of Linksys Router are you using? If it is WRT54G(one of the most popular ones), you have to go to. Most probably, username and password should be admin and admin. Click on Wireless and then On Wireless Security. From the dropdown list of Security Mode Select WEP. Click on Save Settings and you are done.

The address bar to check it gives the passwords and user set up disk or you type in 19216811 into the linksys site.
