Wireless connection keeps dropping if i turn on the wireless security. how to fix it?
my wireless connection keeps dropping if i turn on the wireless security. my rounter is Linksys befw11s4 using WPA Pre-Shared key method. my laptop is vista…the connection is fine if the wireless security is disabled..

The linksys bios ive found similar issues though need to resent my wireless connection occasionally or even reboot my router.

The broadcast channel while your at it and change the other computers wireless dont like that the other computers wireless dont like that the other computers wireless.

For normal home connection under wpa if you cant get stable connection under wpa try using 128 bit wep this is good enough it worth the thieves just change the key occasionally for normal home connection under wpa try using 128 bit wep than wpa.
